Idea Generation            Creativity Workshop

IDEA GENERATION

Develop new, useful and unexpected ideas to solve critical business problems and define plans to turn those ideas into action. This seminar will use a proven Idea Generating Process to facilitate your team's thoughts into results. In addition to providing an external perspective of your ideas, this seminar will help you generate new and fresh out-of-the-box concepts for new products or services.

TOPICS TO INVESTIGATE:

  • Define the challenge --"We must …..so that…." For example, "We must develop a design/build product offering in existing and new markets that are unique so that we can grow alone or in partnership with others."
  • Create a vision of success -- We'll follow Stephen Covey's key principle, "Begin with the end in mind!"
  • Define the problem -- Set criteria for determining the highest priority problems to attach by using questions such as "How might we…"
  • Brainstorm -- Squeeze out all the ideas that you've already thought about.
  • Select the best ideas -- Use a "staged criteria" approach to select best ideas to put into action.
  • Strengthen the best idea -- Starts the transition from talk into action.
  • Develop a plan of action--Assure success in implementation.
