| Richard Tait, Ph.D. - Principal
Richard Tait, Ph.D. is a principal of M. Arthur Consulting Group and a practice area head of New Product Development & Management. Dr. Tait has worked in the field of consulting for nine years and was employed by the DuPont Company for more than 20 years. He has served in management positions of responsibility with DuPont in R&D, Operations Management, and fundamental Materials Research within the Chemical Industry. He received a B.S. degree in Physics from University of Virginia and a Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University. His broad management background includes hands-on consulting experience in Creativity Management, Product Innovation, New Business Development, and Corporate Venturing. Dr. Tait has successfully assisted Clients in the development & implementation of high-impact processes to achieve critical business growth and renewal objectives. Specifically, his accomplishments include: Product Innovation New Business Development Corporate Venturing Creativity Management Dr. Tait has has also published a number of papers related to his area of expertise. He has also written speeches for DuPont Senior Management and has produced and edited a DuPont corporate videotape on "China Venturing: What It Takes To Win."
