Charles B. Sauder - Principal

Charles Sauder is a principal of M. Arthur Consulting Group and practice area head of Human Resource Development. Mr. Sauder’s experience includes 26 years in executive leadership responsibilities with Fortune 500 companies in the area of organizational Human Resource Development and Management. Mr. Sauder has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Millersville State University with additional studies completed at Cornell School of Labor Relations, University of Wisconsin, Rutgers University, and the American Management Association for Executive Development.

Mr. Sauder has directed and managed the functional areas of recruitment, compensation, equal employment opportunity, management/career development, medical programs, benefit administration and organization development. This included the staffing of entire organizations at three nuclear units for several utilities, including staffing executive level positions and a business unit President. Over the past 8 years, he has functioned as Manager/Director within the staffing industry in the Delaware Valley. He has been employed by Pennsylvania Power & Light (PP&L), Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G), Pacific Atlantic Technical Services Company (PATSCO), and dwTechnologies.

Mr. Sauder has also dedicated a substantial amount of time to public service. He has served as Chairman of the Pennsylvania State Advisory Council on Vocational Education appointed by two Governors, Chairman of Eastern Northampton Vo-Tech School Advisory Council, Chairman of Bethlehem Area Vo-Tech Advisory Council, Chairman of Lehigh Valley Manpower Program responsible for a $29 Million program, Chairman of Edison Electric Nuclear Manpower Organization and Chairman of the Board of Trustees-South Jersey Employer Education Council. He currently serves on the Board of Managers of the Delaware State Chamber and is Co-Chairman of the Marketing/Communications Committee. In addition, he is Co-Chairperson of the Delaware Employer Council.

Mr. Sauder has functioned as Consultant to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the Secretary of Education in Pennsylvania, and to President Carter’s Top Domestic Advisor on C.E.T.A legislation. Mr. Sauder has been recognized as Who’s Who Worldwide as a leader in Business and Industry.

As a Director at dwTechnologies his responsibilities included providing leadership for Operations including P/L; Marketing; and Sales for a $10 Million entrepreneurial start up company. This Company has been recognized as a Superstar by the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he is a principal partner and treasurer of Discovery Concepts, a interactive multi-media development company, since 1992.

Through previous work experience at Fortune 500 companies, Mr. Sauder has had budget responsibility in excess of $12M.
